Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) Chesapeake Bay Area, Virginia #WeAreHiring Licensed Veterinary Technician 🐾 Are you a skilled and compassionate Licensed Veterinary Technician looking to take the next step in your career? Our client, a reputable veterinary clinic specializing in small animal care, is seeking an experienced LVT to join their dynamic team! This is an excellent opportunity to work with a variety of pets including cats, dogs, rabbits, and even some chickens, providing high-quality care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide surgical support ensuring safe and effective procedures. Assist with dental care to maintain patients' oral health. Deliver expert care for small companion animals across multiple species. Work independently and autonomously to support patient health. Collaborate closely with the current LVT to facilitate their transition into a management role.
Preferred Candidate:
Licensed Veterinary Technician with at least 3 years of experience. Able to work independently with flexibility and professionalism. Openness to alternative medicine approaches is a plus. Licensed to practice in VA.
