Pay:

$20.00 - $40.00 / hour This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system. We're seeking a passionate and skilled veterinary technician to work in our internal medicine department, providing comprehensive care for our patients with complex medical conditions. As a Licensed Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician, you will... Set up constant rate infusions (CRI). Calculates all medical math including advanced and CRI (mcg/mg, %/mg, etc.). Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia Set up for ultrasound and radiology procedures. Set up and assist with endoscopic procedures (GI, nasal, urinary, airway). Clean and maintain equipment following procedure. Discharge IM patients from the hospital, including basic client education such as insulin injection, SQ fluid, and feeding tube demonstrations.
