Master Pet Stylist

Job description: Abbey Animal Hospital, a well established, state of the art veterinary hospital in Virginia Beach, is looking for a skilled, professional and reliable groomer. Our facility offers you plenty of space, a comfortable environment in which to work, and support staff to help you, if needed.

Requirements:

• Formal training and/or at least 2 years of experience as professional groomer
• Candidate must be able to work independently and demonstrate prior training and knowledge of breed standard cuts and styles
• Candidate must be familiar with grooming with all breeds of dogs
• Prefer the candidate be comfortable working with cats
• Candidate must be proficient in the use of both scissors and clippers
• Willing to consider the right candidate if newly graduated from grooming school Provided for you:
• Support staff to schedule and check out your grooming appointments
• Grooming tables
• Driers (force driers and cage driers)
• Towels and laundry service
• Separate bathing area with 2 full size tubs
• All shampoos, conditioners, bandanas, etc.
