Summit Animal Hospital in Camas is a privately owned small animal practice committed to excellent medicine, exceptional client care, and, just as importantly a supportive, happy team culture. We're searching for an outgoing, motivated CVT who enjoys working as a team leader as well as a team player, sees the big picture of clinic workflow, anticipates needs, and helps the day flow smoothly for patients, doctors, and teammates alike. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a practice where veterinarians are kind, management genuinely cares, and teamwork isn't just a buzzword, it's how we operate every day. What You'll Do As a Certified Veterinary Technician, you'll play a vital role in patient care and clinic leadership, including: Safe animal handling and restraint Phlebotomy and laboratory diagnostics (hematology, chemistry, urinalysis) Dental cleanings and assisting with oral surgery Surgical preparation, assistance, and anesthesia monitoring Radiology (X-rays) with strong radiation safety knowledge Nursing care, including medications, IV fluids, and wound care Client education and clear communication Accurate medical record keeping Inventory and supply management Supporting teammates and anticipating workflow needs Who We're Looking For CVT certification (required) Strong technical skills and clinical confidence Leadership mindset with a collaborative, team-first attitude Someone who sees the big picture and helps keep the day running smoothly Passion for patient care, teamwork, and positive culture Why You'll Love Working Here Friendly, respectful veterinarians A positive, fun, supportive team environment Beautiful Camas location that is close to nature, food, and PNW charm A practice that recognizes hard work and celebrates its people Compensation & Benefits $29-$32/hour Generous PTO, holiday pay & birthday pay Retirement plan with employer contribution 75% employer-paid health insurance (dependents available) Dental & vision insurance CE allowance & license reimbursement Uniform allowance Exceptional pet care benefits Flexible scheduling Schedule 2-4 weekdays per week (Monday-Friday) Mondays will be required Clinic hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM 1-hour lunch daily
