Job Description
SIGN ON BONUS
$1000.00 after completion of 90 day probationary period.Job Summary:
Country Animal Hospital is a well-established, non-corporate practice in the picturesque community of Enumclaw. 3 or 4 10-hour work days per week Continued Education Allowance License Reimbursement Scrub allowanceGenerous Pet Discount Duties:
- Perform various veterinary procedures under the supervision of a licensed veterinarian
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed
- Assist with surgical procedures, including preparation, monitoring anesthesia, and post-operative care
- Conduct laboratory tests and analyze samples
- Take and develop radiographs
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized animals
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Clean and maintain equipment and work areas
Qualifications:
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent certification preferred
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting
- Knowledge of veterinary medicine, including anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
