P atient care E ngagement A ccountability K nowledge Growth Position Summary Excellent emergency, critical, and specialty care requires exceptional technical skills and a strong team approach. At Timberline, we believe veterinary technicians are our greatest asset. We are seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our ER team, providing outstanding emergency care while helping build an engaged, supportive workplace. LVTs at Timberline work closely with veterinarians and teammates to deliver high-quality patient care for dogs, cats, and small exotic pets, while contributing to our culture of collaboration, engagement, and employee ownership.
What You'll Do:
Triage and pre-exam of incoming emergency patients Perform treatments and administer medications Fill prescriptions and perform laboratory testing Anesthetize and monitor patients for procedures as needed Monitor and care for critical and hospitalized patients Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients Collaborate with attending doctors and team members Follow and support patient safety protocols Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked hospital environment for the next shift Support documentation, medical record accuracy, and upholding our
PEAK Principles What We're Looking For:
Active WA State LVT license. Excellent communication, teamwork, and attention to detail. Growth mindset and desire to work in a teaching environment. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Compassion, empathy, and professionalism in all interactions.
Schedule, Compensation, and Benefits:
Hourly compensation is based on experience and skill level ($33 - $45/hr). We are currently looking for coverage for 4pm-4am Thursday - Saturday Shift differentials apply for overnight and weekend shifts in addition to hourly rates. As an emergency and specialty hospital, all team members are required to participate in a rotation for holiday coverage, which includes working at least one summer and one winter holiday.
