Job Description

We are seeking an outstanding, experienced, full time Veterinary Technician to join our team at Union Avenue Veterinary Hospital. We are well-established, one of the only privately owned veterinary hospitals left in the South Puget Sound, full-service, small animal hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We have treated pets and helped families for over 70 years in Tacoma. Excellent staff with new modern equipment (digital radiography, digital dental radiography, in-house labs, sonography, etc.) and we are also a near paperless environment. The ideal candidate for this position would work full time (no overnights and no on-calls).
Veterinary Technician :
Experienced licensed technician to assist in the privately owned small General Practice. Potential of a lead role is guaranteed to help those within the hospital. That includes normal licensed duties and responsibilities as well as working closely by communicating with the doctors, assistants, and clients to help provide patient care efficiently.
Job Requirements:
  • Veterinary Technician License Required
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the veterinary field
  • Friendly, professional, outgoing personality
