Job Description

Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Animal Medical Center - Appleton, WI Animal Medical Center is seeking a Certified Veterinary Technician to join our experienced, compassionate team. We are an independently owned small animal and exotic veterinary practice proudly serving the Fox Valley area. This position is ideal for a motivated technician who enjoys practicing at a high skill level in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do:
Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, anesthesia, dentistry, and surgical procedures Provide high-quality nursing care, including IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, medication administration and patient monitoring Perform laboratory diagnostics, radiographs, and dental procedures under veterinary supervision Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient care, estimates, medications, and discharge instructions Maintain accurate medical records and support a clean, safe, and organized hospital environment
What We're Looking For:
Current Certified/Licensed Veterinary Technician (or eligible for licensure) Strong clinical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and client education abilities Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative setting Experience with exotic patients is a plus, but not required
