About Our Hospital At VCA Sand Lake Animal Hospital, you'll join a collaborative 5-doctor team focused on general practice and preventive care. We pride ourselves on strong technician utilization, a supportive leadership team, and a positive, team-oriented culture. The Role As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and creating a positive client experience. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships, is passionate about patient care, and is eager to grow within a supportive team. What You'll Do Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and post-operative recovery Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs Administer medications and vaccines as directed by the DVM Collect samples and perform in-house laboratory diagnostics Prepare patients and exam rooms for appointments Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records And more!
