Full Time CVT Are you a Certified Veterinary Technician who loves the close-knit feel of a privately owned clinic? Our clinic focuses on supportive care tailored to the needs of each individual pet and exceptional service for every client. What You'll Do As a CVT in our practice, you will have the opportunity to use the full range of your skills, including: Surgical, Dentistry, & Anesthesia Responsibilities Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery Preparing patients and assisting veterinarians during surgeries Performing dental radiographs, completing dental cleanings and charting Diagnostics & Clinical Care Utilizing digital radiographs Collecting samples for in-house and reference lab tests, using Idexx Diagnostics Assisting with acupuncture and therapy laser treatments Use a web based practice management system (Covetrus Pulse) Client Communication & Support Educating clients on treatments, medications, and home care Provide comfort and care for pets during exams, treatments, and hospital stays using low-stress handling and fear free techniques Communicate through technology with two way client communication via text and email Team & Clinic Support Working collaboratively with veterinarians and support staff Contributing to a fun, positive, and respectful team culture Our Community You'll be part of a team that loves to give back to our community: school tours, high school student mentorships, our annual Pet Pictures with Santa event to fundraise for our local Humane Society are a few examples.
