Job Description

We're seeking an experienced
HVAC BAS
Programming Engineer to join a forward-thinking team. In this role, you'll design, implement, and optimize building automation systems, leveraging your HVAC and programming expertise to develop advanced control strategies and integrate diverse building systems.

Responsibilities:
Design and program HVAC control systems with industry-leading software. Collaborate closely with clients and project teams to create customized BAS solutions. Develop and implement control algorithms that meet specific project requirements. Integrate HVAC systems with other building systems like lighting and security. Perform thorough testing and commissioning to ensure systems function optimally. Provide ongoing technical support to resolve issues and enhance system performance. Keep up with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Degree in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in HVAC or BAS programming, particularly in commercial or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of programming languages like Niagara Framework, BACnet, Modbus, or LON preferred. Comprehensive understanding of HVAC components such as chillers, boilers, and air handlers. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and client interaction. Open to training candidates with the right experience and ambition.
