• We are seeking a motivated and reliable HVAC Helper to assist our HVAC technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the HVAC industry and gain hands-on experience in the field. Candidates will be assisting on projects at schools throughout West MI, moving materials, keeping job sites clean, and learning the trade.

• Responsibilities
• + Assist HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair tasks. + Ensure job site cleanliness and organization. + Learn and apply HVAC trade skills on-site. + Handle and move materials as required. + Collaborate with team members to achieve daily project goals.
• Essential Skills & Qualifications
• + 1+ years of construction related experience. + Previous HVAC experience preferred but not required. + Reliable transportation. + Familiarity with installation, sheet metal, blueprint reading, duct work, and air conditioning systems. + General construction labor experience is beneficial.

• Work Environment
• Work on 1st shift, starting between 6/7am and ending between 3/4pm, with shifts lasting 9-10 hours depending on the assigned project.

Participate in construction-based projects at job sites in Holland, Grand Haven, Muskegon, and Grand Rapids. Collaborate with a team of 2-10 people and work around other trades during active production. Safety equipment such as steel-toed boots, hard hat, safety glasses, and a reflective vest are required

• This is a Contract position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
