Job Description

Do you have HVAC parts sales experience and enjoy being out in front of customers, building strong relationships, and growing business opportunities? At Gardiner, we're looking for an experienced HVAC Parts Sales Representative to support contractors, distributors, and end users by providing responsive service, industry expertise, and trusted solutions. If you're motivated, relationship-driven, and know the HVAC industry, we'd love to talk with you.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities by identifying potential customers within the region.
  • Serve as a trusted resource to clients by understanding their needs and providing solutions.
  • Conduct in-person visits to customer sites, contractors, and distributors to promote HVAC parts and develop long-term relationships.
  • Track sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
  • Negotiate pricing and terms with customers to close sales and achieve sales targets.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to expand professional networks and stay informed of industry trends.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to new and existing customers, highlighting product benefits and features.

EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education, technical training, or sales training is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in HVAC parts sales, HVAC distribution, wholesale parts, or a related HVAC customer-facing role required.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC parts, equipment, and industry terminology.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive service and follow-up.
  • Comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email, and in person, with a focus on providing timely and accurate solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage quotes, orders, customer information, and follow-up activities effectively.
