HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on HVAC equipment including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration systems. Read and interpret HVAC schematics to accurately execute service tasks. Repair or replace mechanical components such as motors, compressors, valves, and pumps to restore system functionality. Utilize field service techniques to ensure timely completion of service calls while maintaining high quality standards. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all completed work; communicate effectively with team members and clients about system status and recommended solutions. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC service technician. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning, refrigeration, and boilers. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals. Mechanical knowledge complemented by skills in equipment repair and the use of diagnostic tools like ohmmeters.
