HVAC Service Technician Superintendent

Company Description The Sack Company is a commercial MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) company that is currently looking for motivated candidates to join our HVAC (Mechanical) Division.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Service Superintendent to oversee and manage our HVAC service operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the efficient and effective delivery of HVAC services, maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage HVAC service technicians and support staff. Schedule and coordinate service jobs to ensure timely completion. Monitor work progress, ensuring compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Provide technical support and guidance to technicians on complex service issues. Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Manage inventory and order necessary parts and equipment. Develop and implement training programs for service technicians. Maintain accurate records of service activities, customer interactions, and employee performance. Liaise with customers to address and resolve service-related issues. Assist in budgeting and forecasting for the service department.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or relevant HVAC certification preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and repair techniques. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and software. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
