JOB SUMMARY
We are looking to hire a detail-oriented HVAC Technician to install, maintain and repair our indoor air quality systems such as air conditioners, boilers, refrigeration and ventilation systems. WHAT YOU GET TO DO
Maximize the efficiency of HVAC/R equipment, ensuring the optimal function of the systems throughout our respective buildings. Evaluate, troubleshoot, clean, adjust and repair HVAC/R equipment Perform warranty services and emergency repairs on all HVAC/R systems. Install energy efficient thermostats that save energy and money and swap out old filters for new ones. Install heat pumps to help reduce carbon emissions and dehumidifiers where needed. Participate and oversee installations. Apply local HVAC/R codes in a practical manner on each job. Provide technical support in the field. Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop protocols that are responsive to need. Layout, design, and install low-voltage wiring. Run after-hours calls as required. Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
High school diploma, GED or suitable equivalent. 1+ year experience as an HVAC/R technician, and willingness to continue in the HVAC/R field. A valid driver's license and clean driving record. Knowledge and understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating. Working knowledge of boiler systems. Proficiency in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC/R protocols. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Ability to read schematics and work plans and to work in confined spaces. Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on holidays with short or no notice. Assist with any reasonable requests from management. All other duties as assigned.
