Job Description
enTaB, Inc. is AABC Certified and provides independent TAB services for healthcare and commercial facilities in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. Our Certified Test and Balance Engineers (TBEs) are experts in the Infection Control industry and have been recognized for safety policies, honesty, and integrity. enTaB is a family-owned business that takes great pride in providing exceptional professional services. We also prioritize having fun and celebrating our successes as a team. We are seeking a technician with these same values. Joining our team presents the opportunity for travel, ongoing education in TAB field, and the possibility of relocating to any city of choice in North Carolina. Advancement opportunities are available for qualified team members. On-site and office training toward certification will be provided. Performance evaluations will determine qualification for advancement, increased pay rates, and bonuses. The right candidate for this position must: Have mechanical knowledge and experience Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Be ambitious and motivated Have a desire for personal and professional growth Travel within NC, SC, and VA when necessary Have the ability to lift and transport equipment above ceilings and on rooftops
Responsibilities:
Test, Adjust, and Balance HVAC systems: airflows, water flows, pressures, temperature, humidity Perform duties on new construction sites and existing facilities Read and revise mechanical drawings Evaluate, document, and communicate deficiencies as they are located Devise field observations and reports Work collaboratively with contractors and BAS team for effective communication to the owner Continually expand knowledge of AABC testing requirements, Life Safety requirements, and healthcare guidelines for compliance Comprehend and utilize Microsoft Office Effectively communicate with customers, clients, and managers through phone calls, emails, and project software Maintain a professional appearance and attitudeRequirements:
