Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Hydraulic Shop Technician to join our team and drive excellence in hydraulic system repairs, maintenance, and fabrication. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and assembling hydraulic cylinders, pumps, motors and valves. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work with a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm equipment. Duties Repair and overhaul hydraulic components such as pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses with precision and attention to detail. Fabricate custom hydraulic hoses and parts using hand tools and power tools to meet specific job requirements. Perform heavy equipment maintenance including excavators, cranes, tractors, and industrial machinery to maximize uptime. Operate heavy equipment safely during testing procedures or when moving large parts within the shop environment. Follow safety protocols diligently while welding, soldering, or performing other fabrication tasks involving power tools or specialized equipment. Experience 5 Years experience working with hydraulics. Hands-on fabrication skills including welding, soldering, assembly of hydraulic systems, and working with schematics are essential. Experience working with excavators, forklifts, tractor-trailers, or other large vehicles is highly advantageous. Knowledge of hydraulics systems Ability to operate power tools safely while performing equipment repair or assembly tasks. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs or maintenance needs. Pay:
$25.70 - $30.95 per hour
