Part- Time Oil Change Technician 12-16 hours/week with growth up to 28 hours/ week

Experience is preferred but not required, however, you MUST be familiar with vehicles and tools. This would be an amazing position for a person who is considering making the automotive field their future career. This is for a part time position, likely Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, all day Wednesdays and some Saturday mornings, and some other times sprinkled in as well as anytime we have a big event or vacations. You would cover for employee vacation days/absences. We would like to eventually grow this position into a 25-30 hour position. Training would require at least 25-30 hours per week for the first two weeks. We will train any applicants that are customer service driven , have a great attitude , and work well in a team environment! We are looking for high-energy & friendly individuals to help keep our location growing and successful. If hired, the first day of employment would be as soon as possible. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Changing oil & filters while following set procedures Maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area Inspects engines for leaks Tops off fluid Diagnose issues on vehicles and recommends repair to customers Ensures all equipment is in working order Completes all required computer-based training in the allotted timeframe Comply with all laws and regulations pertaining to hazardous materials Understand federal, state and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Holding the highest level of customer service and maintaining a positive response to customers at all times Contribute to a positive culture and work environment Minimum Requirements Willingness to operate in fast paced environment Customer service background preferred- Communication is key. Ability to learn and use a point of sale system is required Must be accountable, flexible, coachable and a team player

Working Environment:

The store has spaces that are only accessible by stairwells. The tech must be able to do the following: lift a minimum of 20lbs Use stairs many times per day Use tools our tools effectively and responsibly Work in hot and cold weather Uniforms shirts are provided for you, however, black or dark grey pants and non skid shoes provided by you

Pay :

$14.50-15.50 per hour depending on experience level Experience level: Some experience preferred, but solid familiarity with cars and tools is necessary.
