Ice Cream Scooper

Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings. Scoop ice cream accurately and efficiently using proper techniques to ensure quality and presentation. Operate POS systems such as square or toast to process transactions smoothly and accurately. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by regularly cleaning scoops, counters, and work areas. Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Upsell additional toppings, specialty items, or combo offers to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Restock supplies, manage food handling procedures, and ensure all food safety protocols are followed diligently. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems such as Square is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and outgoing personality. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, pricing, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Experience working in quick service or fast-food restaurants is advantageous; restaurant or café experience is highly valued.
