Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Whether serving up delicious ice cream treats or managing the register, you'll play a key part in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings Prepare and serve ice cream cones, sundaes, floats, and other frozen treats with precision and care Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions quickly and accurately Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cash handling duties with integrity and accuracy Maintain cleanliness of the serving area, including sanitation of utensils, counters, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards Upsell additional items like toppings or specialty desserts to enhance customer experience and increase sales Support food preparation tasks such as scooping, portioning, and basic kitchen duties to ensure efficient service during busy hours Skills Proven experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments with cashier responsibilities Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and ability to engage guests effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and sales calculations Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between serving customers and cashier duties Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is a plus; kitchen or café experience highly valued Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and assist customers seamlessly Join us to create joyful moments through delicious treats while developing your skills in food service, cashiering, and customer engagement.
