JA BERTSCH HEATING AND COOLING - IAQ
Tech (Duct Cleaning) - Coeur d'Alene, Idaho About Our Company The Mission of JA Bertsch is to provide our community with the highest level of customer service for their HVAC and Electrical needs through Compassion, Integrity, and Dedication. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Ensure units work before starting the duct cleaning process. Use drop-cloths and floor savors. Full inspection for safety with equipment. Disconnect power to equipment being serviced. Communicate effectively with customers. Start and test systems after work is complete. Must be able to work flexible hours. Job site must be kept clean during and after the process. Leave the site cleaner than it was! Must keep truck clean and organized. Maintain a company standard which includes dressing in the service dept company uniform, no decals on hats other than the company branding or logo, company branded jackets only, and always present yourself in a professional manner. Complete other duties or tasks assigned by the Service Team Leader, General Manager and/or Owner. Adhere to, and display the companies Mission Statement, Vision Statement and Core Values. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma/GED required. Self-starter, reliable, able to work flexible hours. Must pass initial drug test and background check. Must have a passable driving record according to the company's auto insurance requirements. Excellent interpersonal communication skills. Must display great attention to detail. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. General knowledge of power tools and techniques for care and safe use. Maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.Physical Demands and Work Environment Physical Demands:
Climbing up and down on ladders. Heavy lifting of equipment required (25-75+) pounds, ladder work and tight space work required from time to time. Ability to pick-up a minimum of 25 pounds consistently and carry up to 250 feet unassisted. Operate handheld power tools as needed. Wear personal protective equipment as needed. Ability to work more than 40 hours per work week and up to 12 hours a day.Working Environment:
Work both indoors and outdoors. May be exposed to very hot or very cold temperatures. Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations. Wear safety attire, such as goggles, or other protective clothing as needed. Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting. Will be exposed to very bright or inadequate lighting conditions. Ability to climb ladders and work from roofs and scaffolding. Will work around exposed contaminants. Must be able to work in cramped workplaces, such as crawl spaces under floors.Note:
