21 June 2026 Summary TGTG is seeking an APAS Instructor to support the AFROTC detachment at the University of Illinois. Candidates with advanced academic credentials and prior instructional experience are strongly preferred. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Provide Aerospace Studies instruction to AFROTC cadets Support cadet leadership laboratory and development activities Mentor cadets in professional military development environments Support cadet PT and field training preparation activities Maintain cadet records and academic documentation Support AFOQT administration and cadet evaluations Assist with scholarship and enrollment processing requirements Utilize WINGS and AFROTC systems for documentation and reporting Support recruiting and outreach activities across campus and community events Participate in inspections and program readiness reviews Minimum Qualifications Prior United States Air Force Commissioned Officer Honorable discharge from military service Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Active AFSC held during military service Experience teaching, training, mentoring, or instructing personnel Ability to participate in physical training and outdoor activities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to obtain CAC eligibility and pass required background investigation CPR certification or willingness to obtain certification prior to start Preferred Qualifications Master's degree strongly preferred Prior AFROTC or military instructional experience Experience with student mentorship and leadership development Experience with AFROTC systems and cadet administration Prior recruiting or outreach experiencePay:
