IMAGING AIDE
to join our IMAGING team! The Imaging Aide is a non-licensed staff member who has completed on-the-job training and works under the direction of registered technologists to assist with providing patient care. Supports registered technologists by preparing rooms for procedures, providing patient transportation and support, assisting with procedures, and maintaining supply inventory. This is an excellent position for someone either interested in a career in Radiology, or currently on the waitlist for a Radiology program!
Hours:
Occasional hours only; schedule to be determined based on applicants' availability and department need Experience/Qualifications High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Not applicable to those participating in WI Youth Apprenticeship. Minimum age of 16 years old Previous work experience in an acute care setting is beneficial but not required. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire. Site specific competencies in protocols, equipment, computer systems and applications.
