Job Description
Job Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. This energetic position offers the opportunity to provide personalized, respectful, and attentive care in clients' homes or community settings. Your dedication will help promote independence, safety, and well-being for those you serve, making a meaningful difference every day. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs and observing for any changes in condition or behavior Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts and perform heavy lifting safely to support mobility and transfers Maintain detailed documentation of patient care activities, observations, and updates in compliance with healthcare standards Support clients with dementia, Alzheimer's, autism, or developmental disabilities through personalized engagement and memory care techniques Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment for clients Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans Provide emotional support and companionship to promote social interaction and mental well-being Experience Prior experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group homes is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Experience working with individuals with disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental challenges is a plus Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and confidentiality of patient information Hands-on experience with care techniques such as CPR, first aid, hospice care, or working within long-term care environments is advantageous Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and working with mobility aids like Hoyer lifts safely Strong communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Join us in delivering exceptional home care that empowers individuals to live healthier, happier lives. Pay:
