Role Overview:

As an In-Home Caregiver at Visiting Angels, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care and support to seniors in their own homes. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our team to ensure that each client receives the highest level of personal care, all while preserving their dignity and independence. You'll have the opportunity to work on-site in the Temperance, Michigan area, making a positive impact in the lives of those you serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Administer medication reminders and maintain accurate logs of client activities and care. Engage clients in meaningful activities and promote their social involvement. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care for the client.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Passion for providing exceptional care and support to seniors. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English. Prior experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus. Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings. Demonstrated integrity, compassion, and a commitment to service.

Bonus If You:

Have additional certifications in caregiving or related healthcare fields. Speak multiple languages to assist diverse clients. Have experience in providing care for individuals with mobility challenges or special needs.
