In Home Caregiver

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregiver to provide essential support and care to individuals in their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience in home care and a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities. This role requires a blend of personal care, assistance with daily activities, and the ability to monitor vital signs. Duties Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Assist clients with mobility and lifting as needed to ensure their safety and comfort. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to maintain a safe and healthy living environment. Monitor and record vital signs regularly, ensuring any changes are communicated promptly. Assist clients with daily living activities and engage them in social interactions to promote mental well-being. Administer first aid when necessary and follow care plans developed by healthcare professionals or family members. Support clients with developmental disabilities through tailored activities that encourage independence and skill development. Requirements Previous experience in home care or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of patient care techniques, including first aid and vital sign monitoring. Ability to lift clients safely and provide physical support as needed. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals of varying needs, particularly those with developmental disabilities. Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently while following established protocols.
