This vital role involves delivering personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and well-being. As an In Home Caregiver, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities, monitoring health, and offering companionship. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes or concerns Administer medications accurately following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient safety Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and organization of the home Support patients with mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices when necessary Document care activities, patient observations, and any incidents clearly and promptly in compliance with privacy standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and follow personalized care plans for each client Qualifications Prior experience in home care, assisted living, nursing home, or group home settings is highly preferred Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are a plus Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, dementia (including Alzheimer's) or memory care needs is advantageous Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life Join us in making a positive impact by providing compassionate home care that empowers individuals to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.
