Responsibilities Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the supervisor Maintain accurate records of care provided Skills Compassionate and empathetic nature Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families Ability to follow instructions and work independently Patience and understanding when dealing with clients who may have physical or cognitive limitations Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues or challenges that may arise during caregiving Additional Requirements Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a caregiver is preferred but not required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a background check
