Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and motivated Independent Living Skills Specialist program to join our team. The position requires about 50% travel within the Santa Barbara County area. Your client base will be in the Santa Maria, Lompoc area but you will be expected to come into the office in Santa Barbara 2x a week.

Responsibilities:

• Collect and document data related to client needs and progress
• Assist clients with daily living activities in the home and out in the community.
• Work on individual service plan goals with the client in their home and in the Community.
• Will be assisting clients with grocery shopping, cooking, find a job, medical appointments, etc
• Drive to client locations to provide services

Experience:

• Previous experience in disability services.
• Knowledge of data collection methods and documentation
• Familiarity with Regional Centers and Department of Developmental Services (DDS)
• Experience working with Adults with Developmental Disabilities.
• Understanding of title 17 & title 22; Clients Rights
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to providing quality care and support to clients.

The ability to collect data, and assist with daily living activities is essential. A valid driver's license is also required for this role.
