INDEPENDENT TRUCK OPERATORS (ITO)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ITO (with a wet kit) to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service. Competitve pay. Duties Day cab is prefereable Operate various types of trucks including flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, and roll-off truck. Load and unload freight efficiently and safely. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. Follow all safety protocols while on the road and at loading/unloading sites. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to commercial driving. Experience Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with operating forklifts is a plus. Experience with freight handling, including loading and unloading procedures. Knowledge of different types of trucks such as flatbed, tanker, refrigerated trailer, dump truck, and roll-off truck is highly desirable. Strong understanding of safety regulations in the trucking industry. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
