Identify and manage 10-12 key commodity categories that are utilized company-wide, ensuring standardized purchasing practices.
Analyze indirect spend data to identify consolidation, leverage, and cost-reduction opportunities.
Partner with site operations, finance, and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies with company goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Indirect Buyers, providing guidance on supplier management, negotiations, and best practices.
Assign buyers to specific sites and cross-site commodity categories to ensure accountability and commodity expertise.
Establish KPIs for the procurement team, and track progress toward cost savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance goals.
Lead supplier selection, RFx processes, and contract negotiations for indirect goods and services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with critical suppliers to ensure consistent service and innovation.
Monitor supplier performance and manage corrective actions as needed.
Standardize procurement processes, systems, and reporting across all sites.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Collaborate with site managers to proactively manage inventory levels and reduce downtime due to supply shortages.
Report for work on time and fulfill your shift responsibilities as planned. Complete all responsibilities during your assigned shift as outlined in the schedule. Engage respectfully with coworkers, fostering teamwork and mutual respect. •
Proven change agent—able to drive process improvements and cultural alignment.
High degree of initiative and accountability.
Collaborative leadership style with a focus on development and coaching.
Strong knowledge of indirect categories, especially MRO, packaging, consumables, utilities, and MHE.Demonstrated success in leading cross-site sourcing initiatives and cost reduction programs.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and supplier relationship management skills.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and procurement software.
Ability to travel up to 25% to visit plant sites and suppliers.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time with the ability to move throughout the office or outside manufacturing plant as needed.
Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of fingers, hands and arms, such as sitting, typing, using office equipment and reaching. Some additional physical activities may require walking, stooping, bending, twisting and handling of materials.
Position requires manual dexterity, arm-hand steadiness and a safety-minded individual. Must have the ability to concentrate on tasks for long periods of time and be able to observe and receive information from all relevant sources. Scope of Responsibility:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Indirect Purchasing Manager to lead our indirect procurement efforts across seven manufacturing sites throughout the United States. This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management of all indirect categories including MRO, consumables, packaging, material handling equipment (MHE), and utilities. The Indirect Purchasing Manager will also lead a team of 3-4 Indirect Buyers, each supporting specific sites and key commodity categories.Essential Duties:

Position Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field required (MBA orCPM/CPSM
preferred).Experience:
7+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Skills & Abilities:
