Industrial CDL B Roll-Off Driver

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and experienced Industrial CDL B Roll-Off Driver to join our dynamic team. Your expertise in commercial driving, combined with mechanical knowledge and proficiency with various truck types, will help maintain smooth operations across multiple sites. Responsibilities Safely operate roll-off trucks equipped with automatic and manual transmissions, rear loaders, front loaders, flatbeds, dump trucks, and tractor-trailers to transport waste and recyclable materials. Load and unload containers using mechanical equipment such as front loader trucks or other lifting devices, ensuring secure handling of all materials. Drive heavy-duty vehicles over designated routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and safety regulations. Perform routine inspections of trucks and mechanical systems to identify maintenance needs or safety issues before trips. Load and unload materials at various customer sites, ensuring timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining high safety standards. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections for compliance purposes. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and resolve any operational issues promptly. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy-duty trucks including roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump trucks, flatbeds, and tractor-trailers. Proven experience driving commercial vehicles with manual and automatic transmissions in a safe and responsible manner. Familiarity with operating front loader trucks and rear loader trucks for efficient loading and unloading tasks. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling containers or equipment during loading operations. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery driver is highly valued. Knowledge of load securing techniques to ensure safety during transit. Physical stamina for long hours on the road and manual tasks involved in truck operation.
