We are partnering with a leading provider in the HVAC industry, specializing in sheet metal fabrication. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join their team as the HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop Foreman.

Position Overview:

As the HVAC Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production of ductwork and other fabrications in the sheet metal fabrication shop. You will be responsible for leading the shop crew, prioritizing and scheduling production, and ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards and delivered on time.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the shop crew in producing ductwork and other fabrications, prioritizing and scheduling production to meet project demands in coordination with project managers and field supervisors. Plan, lay out, fabricate, and assemble ductwork according to SMACNA standards, selecting appropriate sheet metal @types per project specifications. Utilize welding techniques (MIG and TIG) to join metal components as needed. Utilize CAD software to interpret project drawings and create fabrication plans. Inventory raw materials, create purchase orders, document spending, and ensure materials meet production needs without delay. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:

5-10 years of sheet metal production experience, preferably for HVAC and ductwork applications. Welding experience, preferably with MIG and TIG techniques. CAD experience preferred. Knowledge of SMACNA standards
