Industrial Cleaning Technician

Marine Services VLS Marine Services division offers state-of-the-art barge cleaning, repair, and gas-free facilities for various chemical solvents and downstream petroleum products.

Summary:

The Industrial Cleaning Technician is responsible for following the lead of the Industrial Supervisor in environmental, industrial cleaning, and spill response. This includes the need to support operations during high demand times to ensure the success of the business.

Responsibilities:

1.Environmental Industrial Cleaning 2.Engage in physical labor including lifting, pulling, and pushing heavy objects Operate light and heavy equipment including but not limited to pumps, vacuum equipment, oil spill booms, generators, pressure washers and bobcats (training provided) Perform emergency response activities including, but not limited to chemical and water spills, tank cleaning and equipment decontamination (training provided)

Requirements:

Previous Labor experience Valid Driver's License Industrial Services Experience a plus
