Job Description

Bring Complex Machines to Life At Stolle Machinery, you will be the go-to engineer delivering control systems and electrical solutions across our full portfolio. From translating customer needs into robust designs to commissioning equipment in the field, you'll turn ideas into reliable industrial performance. A day in the life Kick off with project alignment, scoping standards and customer requirements. Draft schematics, panel layouts, and bills of material in AutoCAD Electrical to CE and NEC requirements. Program and troubleshoot PLC/HMI systems on Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix and Siemens TIA Portal platforms. Generate and deliver complete control-system documentation: BOMs, prints, and technical packages for manufacturing, assembly, and operation. Coordinate testing, construction support, and documentation to ensure compliance with specs, codes, and customer expectations. Interface with vendors and suppliers to resolve part deviations and drive quality. Investigate customer issues, diagnose root causes, and recommend corrective measures. Oversee project execution to maintain schedule and budget. Plan and apply research methodologies grounded in electrical theory to improve designs and systems. What you'll build and support Industrial electrical instruments, equipment, and control systems—designed and improved for uptime, safety, and serviceability. PLC/HMI architectures, motion control, and industrial networks (DeviceNet, Profibus, Ethernet). What you bring BSEE and 5-10 years of post‑graduate industry experience. Hands-on AutoCAD Electrical expertise; strong grasp of design techniques for precision plans and drawings. Proficiency programming and troubleshooting PLCs and HMIs (Allen‑Bradley and Siemens). Experience with AC Variable Frequency Drives, motion control systems, and industrial control networks. Ability to create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, machine wiring diagrams, and on‑machine component location drawings. Fluency in engineering principles, technologies, and production methods, plus strong skills in math, communication, critical thinking, decision‑making, and complex problem solving.

Tools you'll use AutoCAD Electrical Microsoft Excel, Access, and Outlook IFS (ERP), SmarTeam Rockwell RSLogix 5000 / Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME, RSLinx, Drive Executive Siemens TIA Portal (Version 13) and Starter Allen‑Bradley and Siemens PLCs (with/without safety), servos, frequency drives, and touchscreen operator panels Travel and working conditions Typical workweek: 40-55 hours; may include on‑call, evenings, and/or weekends. Extended periods of sitting or standing. Up to 25% travel. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
