Job Description

Description
  • Optimize supply chain and logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Manage inventory and warehouse operations, including inspection protocols for incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Analyze process and quality data, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with suppliers to improve quality, manage non‑conforming materials, and evaluate supplier performance.
  • Serve as a liaison between Engineering and Supply Chain teams by translating BOMs and ECOs into production, sourcing, and procurement plans.
  • Proactively identify material risks such as obsolescence, shortages, or supply disruptions and collaborate with Engineering on alternate components.
  • Validate manufacturing and assembly processes to reduce lead times using lean methods, time studies, and process simulation.
  • Develop, track, and report supply chain and supplier KPIs to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Audit manufacturing and production processes to ensure compliance with company, customer, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to resolve issues and improve manufacturing capabilities.
  • Review new product designs for manufacturability (DFMA) and align material availability with production schedules.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, work instructions, quality reports, and technical documentation.
  • Perform root cause analysis on field and production issues and ensure corrective actions are properly implemented.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and cost performance. Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information, stay organized, and solve problems effectively across independent and cross‑functional work environments.
  • Strong capability using spreadsheet‑based tools for advanced data evaluation, reporting, and quantitative modeling.
  • Clear, professional verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative, team‑first approach.
  • Hands‑on experience diagnosing electronic hardware issues and formally documenting root‑cause findings.
  • High level of manual dexterity paired with meticulous attention to accuracy and workmanship.
  • Practical experience working with lab and manufacturing test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, microscopes, and similar tools; soldering experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Ability to rapidly absorb new information, prioritize effectively, and respond decisively under time‑sensitive conditions.
  • Detail‑focused and dependable, with a consistent record of meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Proven mindset for identifying inefficiencies and recommending process changes that improve performance and control costs. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Naperville, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00
