Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician

Job Summary Yespac Inc., a PET plastic packaging manufacturer, is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to support production equipment, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and general facility maintenance. This role is responsible for keeping production equipment running safely and efficiently. Experience with plastics, packaging, thermoforming, extrusion, printing equipment, compressors, chillers, grinders, conveyors, motors, heaters, sensors, and industrial machinery is highly valuable. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment used in PET plastic packaging manufacturing.
• Support thermoforming machines, extrusion equipment, printing equipment, grinders, conveyors, compressors, chillers, vacuum systems, and other plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, packaging equipment, and facility systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, heating, cooling, and control-related issues.
• Repair or replace motors, bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, pumps, valves, heaters, sensors, wiring, and other machine components.
• Respond quickly to production breakdowns and equipment issues to reduce downtime.
• Work with production supervisors, shift leads, operators, and technicians to identify recurring equipment issues.
• Maintain repair notes, preventive maintenance records, and maintenance checklists.
• Support equipment startups, shutdowns, adjustments, and changeovers when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance area.
• Follow lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, and all company safety procedures. Requirements
• Prior industrial maintenance or maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, meters, basic measuring tools, and shop equipment.
• Experience with motors, bearings, belts, chains, pneumatics, hydraulics, sensors, heaters, and industrial equipment.
• Ability to read basic manuals, machine drawings, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to production needs.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong safety awareness. - Ability to work safely around production machinery, moving equipment, and electrical systems. Preferred Experience
• Plastics manufacturing, thermoforming, extrusion, packaging, printing, or converting-equipment experience.
• Packaging equipment mechanic experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience, including sensors, drives, relays, heaters, motors, and control panels.
• Experience with compressors, chillers, vacuum systems, grinders, conveyors, and material-handling equipment.
• PLC or VFD exposure is a strong plus.
• Welding, fabrication, forklift, scissor lift, or industrial equipment experience is a plus.
• Preventive maintenance program experience.

Pay:
