Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

DIRECT HIRE!

Pay:

$18-40/hr starting DOE and education (pay increases as you move through the training tiers)

Shifts Available:

Night Shift:

7:00pm-7:00am 2-2-3, ( initial training 6-8 weeks 7a-3p Mon•Fri.) The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of plant equipment and machinery through preventative and corrective maintenance activities. This role is critical in minimizing downtime, maximizing productivity, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications Experience and Education Minimum:

1+ years of industrial maintenance experience-Required Milling Machine and Lathe experience-Required Welding experience (MIG and STICK•preferred Forklift experience-Required Experience conducting PMs on Industrial Equipment-Required Experience in the maintenance of converting and web-fed coating equipment a plus To start out at higher wage would need experience below: 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience I/E Controls experience Vector Drive experience LEL•Safeguard knowledge Experience with electrical up to 480V 0-10V Control experience Allen Bradley PLC Control platform experience Allen Bradley Panel Builder experience Troubleshoot A/C Drives, speed control, tension control. Experience with Web Handling Journeyman certificate

Job Description:

Proven utilization of knowledge of electrical, industrial controls, mechanical, hydraulic, compressed air, boiler systems, ammonia refrigeration systems, waste treatment systems, and building maintenance in a hi speed CPG environment Proven knowledge and implementation of continuous improvement techniques such as 5S, Lean, TPM Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life. Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize production downtime. Perform equipment installations and modifications. Must follow all LOTO and safety procedures, consistently. Uses precision for basic testing equipment to perform preventive maintenance activities. This includes volt ohm meters, vibration detectors, ball bar analysis, and other pieces of analytical equipment as needed. Performs servicing, testing, inspections and repairs on a variety of electrical equipment components. Cleans air cleaning units, checks fan/blower cfm, checks temperature of bearings, test motors for amperage, voltage and rpms. Maintain electromechanical equipment. Modify, maintain, or repair electrical, electronic, or mechanical components, equipment, or systems to ensure proper functioning. Assist engineers to implement electromechanical designs in industrial or other settings. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of PLCs. Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Work closely with production teams to identify equipment issues and implement solutions to optimize operations. Utilize maintenance software to track repairs, schedule maintenance activities, and manage inventory of maintenance supplies. Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair equipment. Must be able to maintain knowledge of and exposure to toxic and corrosive chemicals Must have the ability to use close and distance vision including color and peripheral vision with or without vision correction means Must be able to visually and auditorily detect obstacles and potential dangers in a production environment setting Effective prioritization and time management skills to balance multiple tasks. May be required to work overtime, weekends, or on rotating shifts as needed. Other Duties as required.

Physical abilities:

Meet the physical demands of the role, including static pull strength of 84 lbs., push 60 lbs., lift 50 lbs. Mount/dismount a sit-down forklift.

Technical skills:

Possess basic computer skills to operate production related software and maintain digital records. Forklift knowledge (sit-down)

Compliance:

Understanding and adherence to GMP regulations and procedures.

Systems Proficiency:

Ability to utilize CMMS systems (e.g., EMaint) for work order management and maintenance planning.
