Industrial Maintenance Technician

Position Overview Great Dane Powder Coating is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician who can maintain and troubleshoot equipment across our powder coating and E-coat operations. This role is ideal for a mechanically skilled technician who enjoys variety. When maintenance tasks are complete, this individual will assist the production team to help maintain workflow and support plant output. We are a team-oriented manufacturing environment, and this role is critical in keeping our equipment reliable and our production running smoothly. Maintenance and Production Support When maintenance work is limited, the technician will assist production teams with: Deliveries Material handling Basic machine operation General shop support tasks This hybrid role helps ensure maximum plant productivity and efficient labor utilization. Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Equipment Support Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. Maintain the preventative maintenance schedule and all maintenance records. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues. Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Maintain pumps, conveyors, motors, and production line components. Work with plant leadership to prioritize repairs and reduce downtime. Maintain organization of tools, spare parts, and maintenance inventory. ____________________________________________________________________________________ . Preferred Technical Skills Strong general mechanical ability is required. The following skills are strongly preferred but not required: Three-phase electrical systems — troubleshooting motors, panels, and power distribution Cure furnaces & burner systems — combustion systems, ignition components, temperature control systems Pumps and fluid handling systems — pumps, valves, piping, filtration, and flow control Conveyors and drive components — motors, gearboxes, alignment, chains, belts, speed controls Industrial control basics — sensors, relays, limit switches, pneumatic logic Chillers and cooling systems — coolant flow, heat exchanger function Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is: Mechanically inclined and enjoys troubleshooting equipment. Comfortable working both independently and with production teams. Organized and capable of maintaining maintenance documentation. Willing to jump in and help wherever needed. Able to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Comfortable working around industrial equipment and production environments. Pay:

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
