Job Description
Job Summary:
The Industrial Maintenance Line Lead is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations on assigned production lines, ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and leading a team of maintenance technicians. This role combines hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities to support safe, efficient, and continuous production.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate maintenance activities for assigned production lines or areas Supervise, train, and support maintenance technicians and mechanics Perform and oversee troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment Ensure timely response to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime Assign daily tasks and prioritize work orders based on operational needs Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades Enforce safety policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to optimize line performance Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports (CMMS systems if applicable) Assist in planning and executing scheduled shutdowns and major repairs Ensure proper inventory levels of spare parts and maintenance suppliesQualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing environment preferred) 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience with PLC troubleshooting (preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Familiarity with CMMS software systemsSkills & Competencies:
Leadership and team management Problem-solving and critical thinking Strong communication and coordination skills Time management and prioritization Attention to detail and safety awarenessWorking Conditions:
Industrial/manufacturing environment (may include noise, heat, and heavy machinery) Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50lbs May require shift work, weekends, or on-call availableJob Type:
