Job Description We are seeking a skilled industrial mechanic to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in welding, fabrication, and general mechanical systems, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment. Responsibilities Weld pipes and use a torch as needed; fabricate conveyor belts and other mechanical components Work with gearboxes, bearings, and other machinery components; troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues Use all hand tools, battery-powered tools, and heavy equipment, including manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders Perform routine maintenance such as greasing, oil changes, and general cleanup Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating equipment and performing maintenance tasks Be willing to work weekends, long hours, and respond to short notice work requirements based on production demands Comfortable working at elevated heights when necessary Perform other duties as assigned Essential Skills Proven experience in a mechanical role Strong knowledge of welding, pipe fitting, and fabrication Experience with conveyor belts, gearboxes, and bearings Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems Proficient in using various hand and power tools Experience operating manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting Valid driver's license Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Havre de Grace, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
