Role Summary:

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Millwright Mechanic to join our team in a year-round position . This role primarily involves performing maintenance and repair work in an outdoor environment under various weather conditions . The Millwright Mechanic will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, fabrication, and repair of mechanical and industrial equipment . Key areas of expertise include millwright work, welding, and fabrication , along with a strong working knowledge of conveyor systems, screw augers, bearings, gearboxes, valves, natural gas trains, and pneumatic systems . Candidates with experience in electrical systems, reading schematics, and utilizing maintenance management programs (such as inventory and work order systems) are preferred. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in routine, predictive, and preventative maintenance of heavy equipment and industrial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience in Millwright work required Experience in Welding/Fabrication and Repair Knowledge of Conveyor Systems, Screw Augers, Bearings and Gearboxes, Valves, Natural Gas Trains, and Pneumatics. Prefer knowledge of Electrical Systems, Schematics and Maintenance Program (Inventory, Work orders, etc.) Proficient knowledge of heavy equipment routine/predictive preventative maintenance on equipment and industrial processes. Must also be able to follow specific detailed instructions and work in a safety-oriented manner. Comfortable with PPE including fall protection; harness and lanyard, etc. Additional responsibilities as needed, per Plant Manager's instruction Physical requirements: Must have a valid driver's license Ability to lift 50lbs. and move 100 lbs. throughout the day Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and reach throughout the entire shift. Ability and willingness to work overtime as required Ability to pass pre-employment 10-panel drug screening and criminal background check. Must be able to work in the outdoors on a year-round basis, adapting to seasonal weather changes accordingly.

Compensation and Benefits:

Competitive Hourly Rates Starting $24-32 per hour, but based on experience. More experience, possibilities are open for higher rates.
