Join a leading manufacturer in the natural gas and industrial equipment sector as an Industrial Painter and play a vital role in delivering high-quality finishes on large-scale steel components and pressure vessels. This is an exciting opportunity for skilled professionals who take pride in craftsmanship and safety, working on impactful projects that support essential industries. What You?llDo:
Prepare and paint steel surfaces, ensuring optimal cleanliness and readiness through sanding, masking, and surface prep. Operate spray systems?airless, conventional, or HVLP?to apply primers, epoxies, and protective coatings on large industrial parts. Assist with or operate sandblasting or abrasive blasting equipment to achieve ideal surface finishes. Conduct thorough inspections to verify coating thickness and surface quality Breakdown equipment, paint and refurb, reassemble Maintain painting equipment, follow strict safety protocols, including proper PPE and ventilation standards.Required Skills:
Proven experience in industrial painting, blasting, or coatings Knowledge of coating materials such as epoxy and urethane Ability to operate spray equipment and related tools efficiently Strong attention to detail and quality assurance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a manufacturing environment Ability to disassemble and re-assemble equipment Comfortable using hand & power tools Nice toHave Skills:
Experience painting with pressure vessels, piping, or structural steel Familiarity with coating thickness gauges (mil gauges) Forklift or overhead crane operation experience OSHA or other safety certificationsPreferred Education and Experience:
Prior experience working with steel, tanks, or large fabricated components Hands-on experience with pressure vessels or piping is advantageous Basic safety training or certifications are a plus Previous assembly experienceOther Requirements:
