Low Description:

Production spray operations, involving liquid painting of manufactured products requiring custom finishes, requiring five or more years of training or experience, or equivalent.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Mixes paint, lacquer, and enamel to specified color, consistency, and viscosity.
• Prepares surfaces and applies a variety of coatings with spray gun to obtain high-grade finish coat or special types of finishes.

Required Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Able to work independently
• Basic computer skills required
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position or role
• Salary commensurate with skills and experience

• Standing and walking for extended periods of time (estimated at 8-10 hours per day)
• Ascending and descending stairs and/or ladders
• The noise level in the work environment is moderate manufacturing noise. Hearing requirements include the ability to hear and respond to instructions, communicate effectively in loud areas.
• Occasionally work in spaces with noise up to 100 dB (with company-provided ear protection).
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
• May be exposed to dust or other irritants and electrical/mechanical/power equipment/heat hazards.
• Possible travel, working around others, and with others.

Preferred:

• Experience using overhead and jib cranes
• Experience with lift machinery such as forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift
• Experience with abrasive blasting
