Injection Molding Supervisor Responsibilities:

Leads the effort in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient operation. Leads and trains a team of production personnel Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures. Maximizes production efficiencies and throughput while minimizing downtime and scrap. Ensures the correct materials are used and documented properly for each production run. Troubleshoots mold, machine, and material problems and makes adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and cycle time standards. Identifies any equipment or mold issues and effectively communicates with the maintenance department. Assists with minor equipment repairs as necessary. Learn how to operate and maintain ancillary equipment i.e., heat transfer labeler, hot stamper, etc., Assists the local and corporate management team in analyzing performance improvement opportunities and leads the team in making permanent corrective action. Ensures all production paperwork is completed timely and accurately. Attends and actively participates in daily/weekly production meetings. Develops and fosters an environment of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Injection molding processing and supervision experience is required (5+ years). Must conduct themselves in a respectful, measured, and professional manner with all personnel. Must present themselves in a professional and confident manner as the face of production for customers. Must be a self-starter with an eagerness to learn and willingness to take direction. Must be a team player with a focus on building and improving the team. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Must be able to frequently stand, bend, reach, climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds.
