This role involves inpatient pharmacy responsibilities, including medication verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and intravenous (IV) checking within a fast-paced hospital setting.

Cicero, IL Schedule:

Mix of days and evenings Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

Verify and check inpatient prescriptions for accuracy and safety Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations Conduct IV checks according to hospital protocols Utilize the EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system for documentation and order review

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience required Active Illinois pharmacist license Proficiency with

EPIC EMR

system preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a clinical setting Ability to manage multiple priorities and rotate through varied shifts, including weekends
