Inpatient Pharmacist - Middleton, WI

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A hospital in Middleton, WI is seeking three inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract starting June 8. This role requires at least 2 years of recent inpatient experience in an acute care setting. Pharmacists will work a rotating schedule of 5 eight-hour shifts, alternating between day (6:30 am to 3:00 pm) and evening (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm) shifts, including every third weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage inpatient medication orders and pharmacotherapy for various medical conditions Perform pharmacokinetic and renal dosing adjustments Monitor therapeutic drug levels and manage drug shortages effectively Utilize

EPIC EMR

system for documentation and order verification

Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Wisconsin pharmacy license; ACT-10 license accepted Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience Expertise in pharmacotherapy, dosing protocols, and acute care medication management Ability to comply with mask fit testing requirements (must shave for a proper seal; no exceptions) Willingness to wear provided scrubs during shifts
