Position Summary The Inside Sales Account Specialist is primarily responsible for providing support for the Inside Sales Team, working with the Inside Sales Manager to develop order pricing, assisting with any questions regarding product availability, lead times, etc. The Inside Sales Account Specialist may also be involved with purchasing/material procurement; working with suppliers such as mills or other vendors to obtain the best pricing for replacement material and/or the procurement of new material. What You'll Do Foster a culture of safety awareness & safety prioritization. Ensure that quality standards are met. Enforce all company rules, policies, and procedures; communicate issues or concerns with the Inside Sales Manager. Ability to understand ASTM and MIL-STD material specifications and work with suppliers to ensure we meet customers' expectations. Assists the sales team with any questions regarding assigned projects, customer quotes, determining product/material availability, and assisting in identifying lead times. Achieve goals and help to resolve any issues that may arise. Perform Inside sales activities to ensure achievement of established objectives for pricing, acceptable gross profit margins, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the various division departments to promote a "team" environment. Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by the division and/or corporate management team. Experience and Certifications 1 - 3 years of inside sales experience required. Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing organization required. Proficiency with software systems including MS Office, database management, and other business-related systems. Experience with an ERP system. Education Requirements A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
