Job Overview:
Join our dynamic team as an Inside Sales Representative at our industrial PVF branch in Geismar, LA. If you're detail-oriented, customer-focused, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.Responsibilities:
Develop strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and suppliers. Collaborate with outside sales to deliver an exceptional customer service experience through timely quotations and order processing based on customers technical product specifications. Provide outstanding customer service by proactively managing order follow-ups and expediting when necessary. Ensure seamless operations by monitoring daily reports, promptly addressing backorders and prioritizing customer satisfaction. Foster a welcoming environment in all verbal and written communications to enhance the customers overall experience. Support the warehouse, sales counter, will call and delivery drivers to ensure a positive customer experience. Create and maintain a positive customer service culture. Engage in strategic material sourcing and initiate non-stock purchase orders as required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in organization and meticulous attention to detail. Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Positive mindset, capable of thriving both independently and within a collaborative team. Strong analytical capabilities and mathematical proficiency. Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Outlook and Excel, with expertise in formatting, mathematical functions, and lookup. Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and operate autonomously. Outstanding written, verbal, and phone communication skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and on-call duties.Experience and Education:
Knowledge of the industrial pipe, valve, and fittings market (PVF) required. Bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of inside sales experience preferred. Previous customer service experience is essential.
